As both scientific formulators, and environmental stewards, we adhere to a strict ingredient philosophy that revolves around these core values and is imbedded in our company’s DNA. It conveys our appreciation of beneficial chemicals, derived from nature, using them with integrity to protect and strengthen our children.
We Use Gentle Plant and Mineral Sources.
Whenever possible, we use certified organic plant or mineral-derived ingredients and phytonutrients, and take special care that their bio-effectiveness and integrity are protected in the finished products. Our essential oils are either certified organic, biodynamically-farmed, or wild-harvested, and are rated genuine and authentic, therapeutic-grade.
We Focus on the Skin’s Epidermal Layer.
Counter to the philosophy behind popular cosmetic skin care, Baby Moon products are carefully formulated NOT to penetrate beyond the stratum corneum, or top layer of the skin. We focus on strengthening and supporting the epidermal layer, and we believe this maximizes the safety of our products, and establishes a protective shield for babies to grow within.

No animal testing is performed in the creation of our products.

We Pre-Market Test All of Our Products.
Quality, safety, and efficacy are important claims and we back them up with extensive pre-market laboratory testing of all Baby Moon products.
Efficacy Testing. Our products must perform better than any other baby product. We subject all of our performance products to independent efficacy tests that include zone of inhibition, and performance testing. These are performed by an independent United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) registered, ISO 9001:2000 Certified, Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registered microbiology laboratory under the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) CFR section Title 21, part 820, Title 21, part 811, Title 21 part 11.
Stability Testing. Products must continue to be safe to use long after the container is opened and exposed to airborne microbes or climate changes. Our labs perform accelerated and real-time stability testing that includes broad-spectrum microbiology, light, climate, and container compatibility to guarantee that our products remain safe after they leave our facility and enter the homes of our consumers.
Pediatric Dermatologist Testing. All Baby Moon products are tested for ingredient safety for babies under the review of board-certified pediatric dermatologists, earning them the status of Hypo-allergenic, Clinically-tested, and Pediatric Dermatologist-tested.
